Pre-Made Vests
for Assistance Dogs
We offer a large range of vests for Training dogs to working Assistance Dogs that are ready to ship. Math is involved to determine what size suits your dog best.
How to Measure for Panel Size:
-
Measure your dog’s girth (around the body just behind the front legs).
-
Divide that number by 3, then multiply by 2.
= This is the Panel Size (vest width without straps).
Why do we use Panel Size?
Since our vests are premade and labelled by their finished measurements, panel size helps us quickly match your order to the correct vest to ship.

How to measure your dog for a pre-made vest
-
Measure your dog’s girth:
-
Use a measuring tape to go around your dog’s body, starting at the top of the shoulders and circling around the back of the legs.
2.Find the right vest size:
-
The main part of the vest should cover about 2/3 of your dog’s girth.
-
The strap will cover the remaining 1/3.
3. How to calculate 2/3 of the girth:
-
Measure your dog’s girth in cm.
-
Divide that number by 3.
-
Multiply the result by 2.
-
This gives you the panel /vest size to look for in our pre-made vests
OR -
Utilise the label "Suits X Girth" where "X" is the B measurement.
4. Adjust if needed:
-
You can add or subtract 2–4 cm for a slightly larger or smaller fit.
-
We recommend a perfect fit, stick to the calculated size or ask for a custom vest.
