Inside, you’ll find simplified explanations about what some assistance dogs do, what they might look like, and how to behave kindly and respectfully around them in public.
 
The booklet gently answers common questions children may ask if they see an assistance dog working, and helps adults respond with understanding. It also explains that while some dogs wear special vests or gear, others may not wear any at all, and that it’s always best not to approach or interact with dogs they don’t know.
 
It’s a thoughtful, child-friendly way to learn about assistance dog etiquette and to start positive, respectful conversations at home.
